Boston/NYC Invite for Carbon Tracker US Launch of Oil Basins Report

The details are available below:

Ceres, MSCI ESG Research, the Carbon Tracker Initiative (CTI) and Energy Transition Advisors (ETA) would like to invite you to the USA launch of the latest CTI/ETA report Carbon Supply Cost Curves: Evaluating Financial Risk to Oil Expenditures.   This report is a risk analysis for the majority of investors who are exploring the topic (and alternatives to) fossil fuel divestment, so they can understand their risk exposure and start directing capital away from high cost, high carbon projects.   Through the development of a new analytical tool – the Carbon Supply Cost Curve - the report will empower investors to ask if their capital is being managed well and whether it makes sense to further develop high cost high carbon projects which could have marginal returns. It will also provide incentives to financial regulators to ensure that companies disclose the information required for financial markets to evaluate the business model's viability in a low-carbon future. Download the report, view the video presentation and media coverage of the UK launch here. Following the successful release in London in May 2014, with the endorsement of Christiana Figueres, UNFCCC Executive Secretary, and other high-level personalities from – among others - Morgan Stanley, F&C Asset Management and Storebrand, the research will be now touring the East Cost. The events:
